home study-help
A while back I had taken Zoloft for a few months for anxiety due to multiple happenings. 9/11 happend, a friends child died, a co-worker died and I was over anxious at the time about my loved ones. Worrying about them. I was only on a low dosage and with a doctor who I am no longer with. I never needed to see a psychiatrist. Do I need to bring this up during the homestudy. I still worry about the stigma any mental drugs have. My health with my current doctor is excellent. Please advise, I'm worried!

Nothing to worry about as long as you are honest and open about the situations that lead you to require a prescription. Your doctor prescribed what he/she felt woudl be in your best health interest at the time. If it was a short term event, then just mention that. Your homestudy does require a current medical exam and statement from your physician. I doubt that being on Zoloft for short term will affect your parenting of a child. Good luck to you
