I adopted a 7 yr old girl and had planned on keeping her name and giving her a new middle name.She did Not go for that.My older 3 children picked her new first name and kept her givin name for her middle name.She was thrilled about her new name and she has answerd to it from day 1.I am also planning on changing our sons name when he comes home .We will see how well it goes.
