Help on I-600!!!!
My husband and I are adopting from Canada, and actually we will be granted guardianship in Canada and permission from the courts to travel to the US to adopt the child in the states. DO we need to file the I-600 in Canada or will the court orders from alberta be sufficient to get to the states with the Guardianship and the permission to travel? Any help would be appreciated? I have call 8 immigration offices and have gotten nothing but the run around!!!

Try the National 800 #
I certainly would pretend to know the answer to your question, but the INS has a national 800 help line. I called it for a question and received valuable info from a very nice attendant. I don't know the number right now, but I got it off of their website.
Hope that this helps. |
