Venezuela
Has anyone adopted from Venezuela before? We have a good network of friends/family in Venezuela that will be helping us, but would love to learn a little about your experience.

I checked the INS web site once a few years ago. It looks like adoptions from Venezuela are unusual - maybe a handful a year. Definitely not a direction for singles to go, but couples have a chance. I would be interested in hearing if someone adopted from Venezuela. I lived there in 1981/82.

I'm also interested if anyone has any experience adopting a child from Venezuela. I lived there from 1984 to 1992 but have few contacts now. Many of my friends have left. My husband and I are in the process of adopting but have not yet committed to a country. Please let me know any information that you have. Mil gracias!
