Just Got Started/ Need Referral for Home Study
Hi All,
We are adopting our nieces from Liberia and we are doing it on our own to save some money. The adoption papers are already in the works and will be ready soon. We want to file for the 600a but wanted to do the home study and send everything in together to USCIS. We are overwhelmed and could use some advice. Can anyone who has adopted from Liberia or any West African country please share your story, it will be greatly appreciated. How long was the process, prices from visa to ticket, everything will help. Also does the Home study provider have to be in the state of residence( MARYLAND), it is costly and we are looking for around 1,000 dollars. Any information will be helpful, thanks.
