My Wonderful Angels came from Korea
Hi All,
I'm new to this forum and I'm hoping to meet other adoptive parents in my area. My name is Lori and we're from Staten Island, NY. DH and I adopted two wonderful kids! Eric is 3 yrs old and so smart and handsome. He is the love of my life! My daughter Alexis is 11 months and is cute as a button. Both have the most amazing personalities. Our family was formed by adoption and it is the best thing I've ever done. Nothing beats the hugs and kisses and giggles! Our agency was Wide Horizons for Children - they were great and everything went very smoothly. The paperwork was just that..... paperwork. Waiting was stinky but...... not so bad. Eric came home 10/2001, right after 9/11 and in 8/01 my house burned down and had to move in with my dad. So that was a really stressed out time. Now we're in our new home and the wait for my daughter went so fast to me. She was home within a year of application. If anyone would like more info please just ask.
