Hi everyone!

I just wanted to share our positive experience with all of you. We adopted the son of our dreams, Danny in April. We were caught between the old laws vs. the new laws so we did have a little wait in between first visit and the pick up visit. (9 months from time of referral to the day he was home) We were amazed at how well our son was taken care of. He had a rough start...born in the 29th week, 2lbs 2 oz, unobserved pregnancy. Looking at him today..you would never know that he was premature or instutionalized. His peditrician is can not beleive how well he is doing and he said that this has to be because of how well he was taken care of in the orphanage. The Bulgarian people were very supportive, caring, and friendly. I am so proud to say that my son comes from such a beautiful country. I look so forward to the day that we can return with Danny to show him his native home. Now our dream of being a family is a reality. We have an intellegant, loving, beautiful boy that we will cherrish forever. I hope that each and every one of you have a wonderful adoption experience.

Congradulations "IloveDanny!" My destination is also Bulgaria - but nowhere near the stage that you've succeeded to.
