Hey guys. Just wanted to share the joy of our third Russian adoption! We just returned with Clara, 22 months. She joins Baley, 7, and Egan, 4. It has been such a remarkable journey, filled with a lot of tears, paperwork, money, frustration, and unbelievable joy. We said she would be our last, but... I'm not sure.
If you guys are still waiting, keep up your spirits. It's worth it! If you need someone to talk to, or have questions, please feel free to contact me. It helps to have someone to talk to during the whole process! CareyAlden@yahoo.com Bye! Carey, Susan, Baley, Egan, and Clara ![]()

Congratulations!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
This is such a special time you will never forget. I still remember the day my son came in from Korea it feels like yesterday and he has been with us 17 months. This is sure to be a special with the Holidays around the corner, enough because time goes so fast. Irene |

My wife and I have just started the process of International Adoption. Our preference is Russia, but I am having a difficult time deciding on the agency who should use. Please let me know if you recomend your agency and what they did right and what they did wrong. Thank you for your time.

The agency you use depends on the state you live in. I live in New York and used New Beginnings. They are licensed in Florida, New Jersey, Conneticut and Pennsylvania. I used them to adopt my son through Korea. They do adopt through Russia and many other countries as well. We loved them very much and still keep in touch with them. This past summer we helped plan there annual summer picnic and come December we will be attending there annual Christmas Party for the second year in a row. If you have any other questions feel free to ask. Hope I helped you some.
GOOD LUCK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Irene |

Thank you Irene
Thank you Irene - you have been very helpfull! I live in southern NJ so they are they first agency that we have gotten a reference for in the area. If you wouldn't mind we would love to hear more about the adoption process through new beginnings anything you could add would be helpfull (how are their manditory semiars, how long did it take, where did you adopt from, etc) my email adress is BHEFFL@yahoo.com.
Thanks Again, Don & Jen Sullivan |

From which region of Russia are you adopting? My wife and I are currently adopting a baby girl from Irkutsk (Siberia/Asian side). Our courtdate is December 17, and we leave on the 13th. I would like to hear more about your experience!

Just started
R&R
I would love to give you more information - but we have just started the process, finally picked an agency (thanks to Irene above) and are waiting to start the mountain of paperwork! If you are leaving for your court date soon you are much farther along in the process then I am - and therefore I would love to hear about your experiences. New Beginnings works in the far east as well - mostly in Sakhakin. Any info you can pass on would be greatly appreciated! Thanks Don |
