Practicing your birth culture in childhood?
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Hello, I am a doctoral student in clinical psychology doing research on international adoption and culture. I also plan on being an internationally adopting parent in the near future. I am interested in how much emphasis parents place on the culture that their child was born in versus the culture that they are adopted into. I checked the guidelines for this forum and didn't see any prohibition to posting looking for participants for research, so I hope I am not violating any rules. I am looking for people who were adopted when they were younger from a country other than the one they wound up being raised in. Each participant gets entered into a drawing to win one of two $25 Amazon.com gift cards. If any of you would be interested in participating I would be extremely thankful. I can be contacted through e-mail at riv11836@suffolk.edu or kjrstar@aol.com . Thank you, Krystle Rivera, Ed.M. Suffolk University Boston, MA |
