Thailand adoption 50% of all assets to adopted child
HI everyonem
I am new to this board but I want to know if anyone has heard of this rule that supposedly came into affect after the coo a couple of years back. I was told that if you adopt a Thai child now that you have to give them 50% of all of your assets. I was told this by someone who has three adopted Thai children and will not adopt any more for this reason. I can not find out anything on any of the web sites anywhere. Needless to say we are so close to getting our child that it really made me sick, I can not see how that is fair especially if we have another or adopt another. Any comments on this would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
