search services for international adoptees in Australia
Good news! International adoptees in the state of New South Wales, Australia, can utilise the International Social Service Australia, a not-for-profit organization in Sydney, for searching for birth family without incurring the normal charges. It appears that the Department of Community Services in NSW have now provided funding to make this possible. I heard this wonderful news from an international adoptee support group based in Australia.
Hopefully other governments around the world will undertake similarly helpful practices to assist international adoptees navigate this international maze. Regards, Ripples
