2 Available references
3 Certified staff that have cleared a criminal background check
4 Consistent, structured, non-discriminatory daily activities
5 Clean, smoke free, stimulating environment
6 Availability to drop in at any time to see my child
7 Daily logs of activities, important information (behavior, disciplinary measures, accidents, etc.)

My partner and I are anticipating the arrival of our adopted son (21 months) and possibly his sister (due on 9-27). As first time mommies, especially with a child coming from a traumatic background, we will be very conscious when choosing our child care.
