Since I don't think our little town is even on a map, I consider myself in the Indy area (within an hour, on the NE side).

Hello again to all! I've been meaning to check out the Indy adoption playgroup info - holidays got in the way!

So - think we will EVER have snow this winter? Santa brought our boy a sled and snow boots, and while it's fun to play with those indoors, I think he's missing the point.......

Hi all! I am NOT from indianapolis

but i do love it there, and just bought a ticket to go to the colts/patriots game this weekend and will be flying to indianapolis saturday, so yay! just wanted to say hi and that sometimes i wish i was in indianapolis

Indianapolis and Indiana in general is a great city and state. I have been here for 15 years and love it. Of course this is where I met my husband...lol and it was after a colts game....lol

Hey guys this is my first post

Im Brandy and my husband and I may be adopting. A friend of my FILs 13 yr old is pg, very unexpected and they do not want the baby. She is 3-4 months along (we are hoping to sit down next week) and had an ultrasound today but I dont know anything else. She has been on some psych meds though so we are concerned.

Im not sure what I need to do since, we looked into regular domestic adoption 2 years ago but it was so expensive we passed it up. I know this is alot cheaper and we will also keep her up to date and let her see the baby as it ages. The baby will know its adopted as it is a biracial baby and we are white. What are my first steps? Main concern is father is unknown, well she wont say, they think its a man in his 30s!! So he will not get the baby he will go to jail if he is in fact the father.

This has come about in the past couple days so Im still in total shock!!

Indianapolis was amazing last weekend! I had the absolute best time ever and met so many nice people! I always say I will never leave socal, but i would definitely consider indy...

Plus it helped that the colts won the game!
