I am hoping to adopt a BR/AA baby and have started the licensing process and complete FAKT with The Villages. They are aware of the fact that I want to adopt rather than foster, but I might be persuaded to do an legal risk adoption if the circumstances are right.
I did kinship care a while back with my 11 yr old nephew who was at risk of being placed in the custody of the state. He thrived in my home and went home to his parents for high school. That was the hardest thing that I ever had to do (sending him home) and it turned out it was the worst thing for him. This is something that I don't think I could bear again. But I digress, please PM me with any feedback that you might have about The Villages.

You might want to post in the Indiana forum, that way you will get some opinions from people using the Villages. Are you in Indy?
