Hello everyone, my husband and I have just gotten our fostering license and, of course, have many many questions! Since it is my understanding that things can vary greatly from county to county, we are hoping to connect with other foster parents in Marshall county. We are, well, cautiously optimistic about this journey and hope with all our hearts that we can make a difference!

Thanks for responding Tonia! We just met with the regional licensing specialist yesterday who was able to answer a lot of our questions. We are so anxious about getting our first placement, although we probably won't have many considering we can only take one young child. Have you had many placements since February? We have been told that there are almost always openings in our county since there are over 30 licensed foster homes here. I guess right now we just have a lot of fear of the "unknown"!
