I got a call
I'm so excited and busy. I got a call two littles yesterday morning and they arrived that afternoon. One is a little girl age 3 and a 1 1/2 year old boy. The boy seems to be a little behind but the girl is very chatty and busy.
They are only suppose to be here for two months. They came to us after a relative placement didn't work and before that they were in a different foster home. And they have only been out of the home for a little less than a year. Things are going good but they are into everything. I didn't realize how many I need to baby proof again. Hope others that are waiting get the call soon it was exciting and of course I forgot everything I thought I would ask when they called.

I'm glad you finally got 'the call'. Yes, baby-proofing is very needed. I finally turned one room into a playroom where the kids can get into anything and everything they want. No grown-up stuff is in there. All their toys are kept there and they can come out if they want.
At this moment there are two 2-year-olds running around my livingroom chattering up a storm. I love it.

Well its been a little over a week since the little ones came. I think we are adjusting well and have removed any hazards out of reach of the littlest one.
The boy is Mr. Busy and the girl is Miss Mouth. Mr. Busy is always on the go full speed ahead no matter what is in his path. He doesn't talk at all. His sister Miss Mouth makes up for it though. She always has something to say and when she is corrected she loves to scream. My dd Miss Princeness is showing how spoiled she has been but is getting better. She has adjusted fast than I excepted. Now if I can only get paid so I can get some fun stuff for them. My husband and I got them the clothes and other personal stuff they had to have but are hoping to get them some toys etc of their own when we get paid. But of course there is a delay because our direct deposit was never set up for some reason. Have learned alot in the past week about many things and I'm positive I'm not done yet. A big question I have is how can they go home to a mom who has no income and no car?? It will be interesting to see if she remembers diapers for visit tomorrow.
