I took ours to the DCS office on the 1st, we received email notice of deposit on 2/7 and received payment on 2/10! I think our office deserves a big High 5! We're in Fulton Co.

I still haven't gotten email notification but we did get a paper in the mail yesterday saying it was deposited. They are supposed to email also. Believe me its very welcome. Been a horrible week so this helped.

Nada here. I contacted my county office to see where in the process mine is and got the answer that it was currently with the state auditor. Of course she didn't tell me WHEN it went to auditor.. The auditor has 7-10 business days to get it into my acct.. Fun times.

I just received an email that it will be deposited on 2/19. We are in Marion county and mailed our invoice on the 5th. The state is faster than the county. We are still waiting on per diem for November and December for our girls.

I also just got my email notification that it will be deposited on 2/19. Anyone else notice how the state likes to talk in the future? lol on 2/17 my email states :
DEPOSIT WAS MADE ON 02/19/2009 . uhmm, no it wasn't made yet but it WILL be made.. I'm just picking maybe but that's my 3rd email from the state (adoption subsidy) and you'd think they'd get their verb tense correct just once?!

It comes from : InAuditorofStatePayables@auditor.in.gov & will say "Auditor of State- Notification of EFT Deposit"

Still nothing here yet. I turned it in on the 5th, so I know the max time is not past yet. But still....argh! I don't know if they even GOT the form! No one has returned my phone calls.
For those of you who TOOK them directly to the office...does anyone have a drop box to put them in or did you just turn them into the front desk? I turned ours in to the front desk receptionist. She just tossed the envelope on the table behind her. I asked her if she could please make sure it got back to accounting and she was very hateful about it. I know it was suggested by several during the training that a drop box would be a good idea. After this incident, I called my LW and again suggested it and told her about the receptionist's attitude (she wasn't surprised!). Even an email from the bookkeeper saying we received your invoice on xyz date would be so helpful!! Argh!

Lakin- I just mailed mine into the office and put Attn : bookkeeper. According to the training, you should be able to email the bookkeeper and have them tell you the 'status' of your claim.. At least what portion of the journey it's in.

lakin11, Did you call and talk to the bookkeeper herself? If not, I would because you don't even know if the receptionist gave it to her.
I handed mine in on the 5th and received it in our account on the 12th. I still have never received a email or a notice in the mail about the deposit going in so when I went to balance our account it was a surprise to have it in there.
