bouncing around the local offices
This is our first post. We are transitioning into foster/adoption. Every one has been so nice and helpful at the local DCS offices, and we are bouncing from one office to another to get all the steps complete. I talked to the new worker today, she told me she was going to be doing the home study, and it was our last thing. We already had one email sent to us from DCS about possibly adopting two little boys, and I was not sure what to say? We had contacted the website about a few other children and I guess she had our email FW to her? I read on here that some people are getting the run around. We where told the first day we could adopt from any county or any state. I am anxious to get this home study complete, and at the same time scared to death. The little boy we want to adopt is 13, and it seems like it has taken so long by the time we are certified he will probaly already be adopted. Any advice?
