Question Adoption website and homestudy

Does anyone know if you have to have your adoptive homestudy before you can be considered for a child on the adoption website? We have our foster homestudy and we've took the adoption class. We just don't have our adoption homestudy. I know to adopt we would need to have it done. But I thought maybe we could have that done after having a child placed with us. Any experience with this??

We did this but we had had an adoption homestudy done previously that was outdated. Contact the caseworker for the child you are interested in, because if you are a licensed for foster care, they may be interested in working with you on this. Good luck and God bless!
