we just got a letter from the foster agency we went with last Sept. We had not received any kids from the previous agency for over a year and to date have not received any from this one. We have had calls, but the kids were placed elsewhere. They were inspected last week by the state and say that we have to have a county and a city police check. Does anyone know what this is? I have never heard of it and don't know what it means. we have been foster parents for 20 years and also have a licensed day care. we have been finger printed 3 times in the last year. old agency, new agency and the day care will not accept the foster agencies finger prints. we have been drug tested, tb test, physicals, copied insurance cards, drivers license, will be doing cpr and first aid again next week. had the water tested. we do not live in town, so I don't know what city they mean. it seems that we are constantly being inspected by someone every couple of months.
