In search of my husbands Birth son born most likely in INDPLS. Medical info was obtained by birthmom parents. Believe date of birth June-Dec 1983. Mother was 22-23 yrs old. Birth Father was 22 yr old. Worked at major Indpls factory. Birth mother may have been a nurse/ nurse aide and possibly a graduate from N. Central High. Was told before the child was born that the decision was already made to put child up for adoption. Believe paperwork was signed (sent to FL where living at the time approx. 6/83) this may have been when found out it was a boy. Sorry details from this time are sketchy.
Birth father is tall/ dark hair and blue eyes. Mothers hair was dark also, average height. Looking to find birthmom and missing son. Our prayers go out to "unknown" son as you are now able to search and hopefully find us and to birthmom, Pray time has healed your heart and you will be looking also.

I e-mailed her today to get one. I had asked her before if files could be crossed checked, as I know being the father of an unmarried women makes it harder, as we do not know if anywhere would his name be listed. I wanted to know if files are "cross checked" as to if somehow he is listed somewhere as being a father to a child that was adopted out,and she said no. I know one of the "keys" we need is for him to have the girls name,I know its in there (his memory)but it is blocked out. I search all the message boards hoping she will be looking too. There is alot of healing for many people that needs to take place. Little by little pieces are being unlocked.
We now know she was pregnant in Oct of 1982, but do not know how far along she was as he wasn't told she was pregnant and wasn't showing. This is why possible dates of birth has change. My best est. is Apr-July 1983 as a date of birth.
