I am a 38 year old birth mom looking for a son I gave birth to on October 6th, 1985. You were born at Methodist hospital in Indianapolis, IN. I thought I would never forget your exact length and weight, but I believe you were 19 & 3/4in. long and 6lbs 8oz. Beautiful and perfect in every way. I had a fire a few years after you were born and lost your wrist band with your info on it. I lost everything in the fire except for a few pictures that were taken of me holding you and your birth grandmother holding you. It was a true miracle because everything else burned up and your pictures were protected by Angels at the bottom of the burn pile. I think of you every year on your birthday and hope to find you, but only if it will be ok with you. Your birth father was part Cherokee Indian and very hansom. We have talked recently after several years and he has some serious health problems that I feel you should know about. He is also very anxious to know how you are. I was told your adoptive parents lived in Franklin,IN, but it was pretty closed and hush, hush then. I do not want to push or pry, and am open to talking if you are. I would not violate your privacy in any way if you do not want it. But know that I did the best I could then and that I gave you up out of love.
