Need Support

I am in the process right now of adopting a little girl from India. I would love any advice, experience notes or anything else from you.

How did you go about finding a cultural support group about India?

hi albuuck
Our daughter is 7 yrs old.We dont have a culture support group. But i do keep in contact with alot of families that went trough the same agency and have adopted older children as well. There are alot of them in the same state as us.I did read all we could find on india culture and religion. How old is your daughter?wHere ih India is she.Our daughter was in mumbai. My husband traveled to get her why i stayed home with our other 3 children. Our adoption was about 9 months start to finish. She has been home 4 months this friday. My husband loved his overall trip.He said the people are wonderful and he is so looking forward to going to get our 3 year old son.He did say when it came to travel 2 heads are better then 1.Even though he dont want me to go with him to get our small son.My husband did take our little girl shopping and bought her 2 punjabi suits. That was the best thing she loves them.He is planning on getting her a couple more while he is in india again.hope to hear from you soon.
