My husband and I have recently accepted the referral of a 5 year old girl who resides in an orphanage in Latur. As she is over the age of 3, we have been told one of us must travel to India to get her. In light of the current tension between India and Pakistan and the accompanying threat of military action, we are very concerned about traveling. We would be interested to hear from anyone who has traveled to India to pick up their child recently or who is planning to do so over the next few months. Also, we would be interested in hearing from anyone who has had a child over the age of 3 escorted from India back to the U.S. Thanks.
