anyone familiar with ICPC approval after guardianship
is anyone familiar with getting ICPC approval after they have been granted guardianship from Indian courts? We are adopting from India and have been granted guardianship already. Our agency is in another state than we are and we have been told that we have to have ICPC approval from our home state before we can travel. I talked with someone in our state ICPC office and they say they don't do this for international adoptions. HAs anyone else had to do this? and if so where did your paperwork go to? Thanks so much.
