A couple of thoughts:

1. If you can find out the name of the agency your adoptive parents used for their Indian adoption, you may be able to obtain information that can point you in the right direction.

2. Contact CARA, the Central Adoption Resource Agency, which is the branch of the Indian government that oversees all adoptions. It may be able to help you find information on your birth family.

3. If you know the orphanage from which you were adopted, contact the director and see what he/she may have in old records that can help you.
