Agency Recommendations
My wife and I are exploring an Indian adoption and are not of Indian descent. We are currently enrolled in the Russian program but have concerns about its future.
Has anyone used Americans for International Aid and Adoption? Does anyone have any good experiences to share with their agency? We live in Michigan. Thank you for your help. Scott |

Agency for India
We went thru Crossroads in Minneapolis. they were vey good. The Indian agency they used at that time has been closed; they were dishonest (Precious Moments.) i notice that Crossroads still has a connection with India, though. Also my husband was born in India, though he is a Pakistani citizen, I don't know if that had anything to do with it but all the rest of the children that came from that agency at that time (1999) to the US were adopted by non-Indians.

We used AIAA. I'd be happy to talk with you via PM if you would like. Our son came home from Bangalore in August. And, we are also NOT of Indian descent.
