Delhi Timelines
Hello everyone,
I am completing the dossier for my second adoption and will be going through the Delhi court system this time. I know that each region takes a different length of time. Does anyone have experience with the court system there? How long did it take after noc before you brought your child home? Thanks so much! Terry in OR Mama to Gouri BSSK

Delhi used to be super-fast (our case took less than 6 months start-finish), but lately there have been unprecedented delays due to a judge not signing cases. I think there are something like 200 cases pending, some for months now. Another but- a higher court issued a ruling that is supposed to clear this backlog. However, India adoption is anything but predictable!
