Hello Crazd,
The best place to start is with Mission of Hope. If they don't have any more information that what you already have, find out if they have a service where you can register to be contacted if your birth family some day comes forward to inquire about you. All the best to you! Terry in OR

International Mission of Hope
My niece and two nephews (all adults now) were adopted from the International Mission of Hope. So was my older daughter, who is now almost 6 years old. You may already know that the International Mission of Hope is no longer doing international adoption work. However, there are still about 35 children and young people living at IMH in Calcutta. Sometime during the last few months, a post appeared on this list from Beth Clark, the daughter of IMH co-founder Cherie Clark; Beth is now an adult and maintains a database of individuals who lived at IMH prior to adoption. The address she gave for registering information is this: IMHindia@yahoo.com I'll bet she would like to hear from you, "crazd"! Good luck to you.

Hi Crazed,
I too was adopted from Calcutta and the Mission of hope. I'm 19 years old. I wasn't there when you were born but i'm glad to know there are more of us out there. Good luck on your search. I so far haven't found much out. Word to the wise, if you are in the the usa, make sure your citizenship date is correct. I'm going through hell now trying to fix mine. ~Melissa |
