Hi,
I have submitted my I-600A along with my home study about 3 weeks ago. I have not received anything nor receipt saying the case is filed.

How long did it take you to receive the receipt once you
submitted?
I checked the status of my money order, and it has not been cleared yet.
Any suggestion?
I am getting very concerned.

You might post which office you are dealing with. The processing times vary greatly from one office to the next. (Like from weeks to months.)

Hi,
Well I have submitted my I-600A along with my home study too 10/1/08 and received receipt 10/7/08 but so far nothing else...
I use Dallas USCIS...and on their web site I found if you don't receive any receipt from them in 30 days to contact them...check your local USCIS web site for contact info....

My local office is Orlando. Where can you see the information you mentioned, the contact information and the statement about if you don't receive any receipt from them in 30 days...?

I was trying to look for the info by going to the processing time for the Orlando office, but I don't see it.

Anyone recently processed their I600-A in the LA office? How long did it take? By their web site it sounds like they are still processing petitions from the end of April 2008. T

If you go on there website you can pick the office you sent it to and it will tell you how long it will take. Its not always accurate. Mine is Newark NJ and as of 8/31 then had just finished the applications they received in February. I heard it was quicker but they may be backed up.
