Can Someone please tell me how long the results of the State and FBI Fingerprint ( Sagem Morpho )for the child abuse clearances take to get back ???? And will they come to the Adoption agency ??????

Hey hon, you can look that info up on the USCIS site or call them and see what month they are presently serving. Each state is different so it is best to talk to someone that has adopted from your state and done the INS paperwork and fingerprints or call the office yourself and find out that way. They range from 1 month up to 6 months with the adverage being 2-3 months from my experience.

The info went to the agency. I remember this because our SW called about an item in the criminal check.

Are you asking how long for the fingerprint results to be processed for your 171H or how long after you are printed you might expect your 171H? Or something else entirely?

I am not entirely sure what you are asking and from the reponses, I think people may be enterpreting your question differently

You are correct DPline, I am answering the question about the state clearance.
State clearance was sent directly to our SW who worked for our agency.
Maybe I answered a question that wasn't ask. I guess I wasn't clear in my response since there are 2 questions.

I got my FBI clearance back in two weeks, but I used fed ex and included a fed ex return envelope. My state clearance took seven weeks, but I didn't fed ex. Now I am overnighting everything. Good luck. Cindy
