what docs are in the sealed envelope?

Does anyone know what documents are contained in the sealed envelope?
My wife and I returned from China in May with our son (IR3) and did the whole sealed envelope thing. Our case worker is asking us for some paperwork that we can't find. My wife, who never throws anything away is terrified that she inadvertently trashed it. She is worried sick and can't sleep. I'm hoping to find out which doc are there so we will know if we can stop tearing the house apart and searching the dump.
Any help is appreciated!

Chinese adoption decree
Chinese birth certificate
Chinese abandonment decree
Visa medical done in Guangzhou

Probably some other things, but I can't picture that your social worker would be asking for anything in the sealed envelope. The documents in the envelope are just those that you need to get into the U.S.

You can get the items that were in the sealed envelope by filing a G-884 Request for Return of Original Forms.

I requested my forms in 2007 for completed adoptions in 2001 and 2002. At that time it was free of charge, I do not know if it continues to be free.

I'm not sure what's in the sealed envelope, but the documents we needed were given to us in the province, and included the Chinese adoption decree, the Chinese birth certificate and the Chinese abandonment decree. We also had to submit our certificate of citizenship which came by mail a couple of months later.

But if your son came home on an IR3 visa, you will need to apply for this after readopting him in your home state.
