No Entirely Internation-But relates

Child was brought here at the age of 11 illegally.
Since, he's been adopted by his aunt and uncle who are here legally and are citizens.
The adoption has gone through and the new birth certificate in on its way.
The process of filing for the child began around 3 months now.
The child is now, as of 3 days ago, 17 years of age. And about 3 weeks ago a confirmation of receiving for his application for citizenship filed by his Aunt and Uncle was received.

The child's adoption process started before his 16th birthday and concluded about 6 months after, where he went to court and finalized the process.
The child has been living with his aunt and uncle shortly after he came.
-In short how long would all this take? And are there any possibilities of rejection?
Thanks for any insight.

I'm not sure what you are asking.

Are the aunt and uncle disrupting the adoption, now that it has occurred?

Or are you saying that none of this has actually occurred, but that you want to know how to adopt an illegal alien?

No, they have adopted the child (that is the aunt and uncle) and are now waiting on the new birth certificate. And I also noted, that the immigration office sent us a letter saying that they received our request for naturalization of the child. Now, I would like to know how long this take for the child to become naturalized and are there any chances of rejection. Thanks for any help.

I don't see why he would be rejected.

Good luck!
