Chicago USCIS
I wonder if there is anyone from Illinois right now who is dealing with the immigration issues. I have been waiting for almost a month now for a letter to be fingerprinted again. Is it a normal waiting time now? Last year I got the letter in a week. Ufff!

We are from Illinois. Adopting from Kazakhstan. We received our fingerprint letter in about 4 weeks from the time I mailed the application. We did our fingerprints in Naperville on Saturday October 13th at 3pm.
We took our passports for ID and they didn't ask for anything else. By the way we ate at a fantastic restaurant in Naperville called the Key Wester. |

Thanks! I finally was fingerprinted, too, after begging through E-mail. Now I have to wait for an update on my I-171H. Good luck to you!
