About re-fingerprinting......

Hello all,

If your fingerprints (FBI- for the I-600) are expiring, then do you just take the old I-171-H and passports, etc.. to the local USCIS???? When I tried to make an appt. -Infopass, it did not give an option for Refingerprinting?/ What are the documents we need to take with us for re-fingerprinting? Do I send a letter?? If so, how long did it take for you to get the letter back from USCIS that your finger-prints were approved and valid for another 15 months/ 6 months????

Thanks,

Information

I just got an email from my agency about getting refingerprinted. Here is the information: You will need to send to your local USCIS office:

-a cover letter stating that your prints expire soon and you want to be re fingerprinted, include your names and birthdates -a copy of your current I 171 H visa approval letter -a check or money order (whichever your USCIS office requires) for $70 per person for fingerprints (for anyone 18 or over in household)

Then USCIS will inform you of your fingerprint appointment.

Good Luck

Heidi Lou
