I am looking to connect with anyone who placed with Easter House. I am a birthmom. Easter House is known to be difficult, refuses to share non id, provides false non id, etc. Hoping that by finding others we can help each other out.

I was adopted from Easter House and I was wondering you say they are difficult. I want to find my birthmom. I saw that you child was born 5.16.86. I was born a couple weeks after that on June 3, 1986. I was just wondering why you said they were difficult because that makes me worried that I may not be able to get a lot of information for my search. I placed with Easter House in 1991. I'm a birthmom who never believed my child went with who I chose for her, rather who was paying Easter House the bigger buck or whatever. I'm with ya on this though we're at the beginning of something potentially huge. It's worth it

To the moms who lost their children to Easter House,

My experience is similar to yours. My son was taken by American Friends of Children, an adoption agency operated by the same baby broker who ran Easter House. His name is Seymour Kurtz. I researched information about him and his adoption network and put it on my website. As the website shows, he has a very bad reputation and has been in a lot of trouble with the law. Please visit the site and, if you are willing, email me and tell me your story so I can add it to the site.

There is also now a website for Easter House adoptees, birth parents and adoptive parents. This web site has NO ASSOCIATION with the agency whatsoever. It was developed by adoptees, birthparents and adoptive parents to help ourselves.

As such, all non validated requests expire within 14 days. Due to the questionable nature of this network of agencies, and the extremely sensitive nature of our adoption trauma, we validate all members prior to approving. It is a closed, not public list, that we guard very closely.

You are encouraged to resubmit a request to join. If you do so, please provide a bit more information yourself and your surrender experience with EH.

We are a strong supportive family. Our list has over 40 members and more than half of them are in reunion.

I also belong to EH babes, it is and has been our policy to validate our members for the safety of our members. I would also encourage you to resend your request to join EHbabes. The group we have is over 40 strong, we have had many re-unions. We support each other and help each other in many ways.

ok my info is on ehabae already i got denied like in 2 days i never received a questionare. i check my email everday since my info is on ehabes this i 2nd time i try to join gotten denied i no my daughter not quite 18 yet but its getting close not her AD were allowed to to tell her anytime but at 18 they suppose to now after reading those horrors storys of ppl going thru easter house when i months ago i thought i join see what happen to others . i reply again see if i get a questionare again
