Hi--
I have been trying to locate a female born in late October/early November 1963. The adoption was arranged through Thransfiguration Catholic Church in Wacounda, IL (near Chicago) with the help of Catholic Charities.
The baby girl was born to my aunt who passed away a few years ago due very unexpectedly. And the only other person who knew the exact details (my grandmother) passed away several years before her.
I have been trying to locate this girl/woman as she needs to have the medical information about our family so that she can be tested for genetic issues that arose from my aunt's (her mother's) death.
The only thing my mom and her other sister know is that the baby was born late October/early November 1963 and that the church made all the arrangements -- no one at the church can give me any information as they no longer "handle" such things. The birth took place either in northern Illinois (Chicago/Elgin/etc.) or possibly in the Waukegan, WI area.
My aunt's family (uncle and three daughters) do not know about this child and that is why I have been trying to find her. Any help in where I can look since I can't seem to get any help fron the Church or its contacts would be greatly appreciated.
