I have a sneaking feeling that Lake Bluff aka ChildServ intends to give me the run around this time. When I called yesterday, the receptionist transferred me to the voice mail for Human Resources. Today, I was transferred to someone else's voice mail. In neither instance did I get a call back.

Fortunately, Illinois law is on my side in this instance. I will keep hounding them daily until I have my non-id in hand once again.

I noticed this thread is several years old, but here goes anyhow.
I was adopted through LBCH in 1958, I only found out about this in 2007. A google of LBCH produced a website for the White Oak Foundation. White Oak Foundation
I was born at Evanston Hospital, which is in Cook County.

my birth certificate shows cook county hospital in Evanston.

Hi all. New account because I couldn't get my old one to work. I was SusanD60. I gave up searching for a while cause I was getting so depressed from hitting so many brick walls. Decided I will try again.

Any more Lake Bluff babies?? I was born in 1957.
