I am searching for my husband's older half brother.
He was born 1961 - 1962 in Cook County Hospital in
Chicago, IL. We are not sure if the adoption was handled
privately or through an agency. Any information or recommendations for my quest are welcome. Thank you.

do you know you husband's brothers name? or if he has any other relatives? i am searching for my birth family my name is joey i am hispanic. my mother gave what may have been a false name to police but she lived i believe on w. 44th pl in chicago and listed our race as puerto rican. we were taken from our mother in 1969 and she didnt give any info on our birth father but i was told a paternal aunt called dcfs and tried to ge custody of us. thanks.

No, I am sorry, I do not know the boy's name. I do know, however that I am looking for a male caucasian. I know the
names of the parents, but they too may have used a false name at the time of birth. I wish I could be of more help. Good luck on

Have you discovered any more info regarding the birthdate of the half brother you are searching for?
I believe we have corresponded previously, but was still wondering if you have learned anything more from relatives. My husband's adoption went through 'The Cradle' agency. He was born at Booth Memorial Hospital in Cook County-Chicago,IL. The name on his adoptive birth certificate was Baby Boy Rees. Just in case, is there any similarities?
