my birth name is joey white i was adopted along with my sister after our mother left us with a neighbor in chicago and we ended up with the dcfs, that was in 1969, our birth mother gave her name as joyce darlene white. i was lucky in that the dcfs gave me evrything they had including identifying information, she gave no information as to who our father is and funny enough it was his sister that called dcfs wanting to adopt us, she also went by the name joyce whitehead and said she came to chicago from pennsylvania with a man named gene mellet but in chicago she had a boyfriend named george whitehead and she had a sister named beverly, thanks to anyone who reads this and may know her, also illinois told me they had no record of my birth but my sister whos not interested in looking for our birth family was born in 1967 at cook county hospital according to our birth mother again thanks to anyone who might have any knowledge of her.
