Hi my name is Lindsey i have never known my real father i met him once but he didnt want to have anything to do with me because i didnt fit into his family; that was when i was about 13. my mom then married a man from england when i was about 15 he immediately too me under his wing and accepted me as his daughter im 21 in about two weeks and yesterday i asked him if he would adopt me and he said yes and my mom said yes even though they are divorced. hes always taken care of me and i know he loves me because he tells me and he also tells me how proud i am, he pretty much takes care of all the father duties that my bio dad should of done but neglected to do, i have two questions, 1) since i am an adult do i need my bio dads permission to hand over adoption to my step dad (julian), and 2) does anyone know how much this would cost and how i would go about doing this you know im only 20 right now and im not to smart with the legal stuff and i thought here i might get some real advise i tried asking on yahoo answers and questions but they didnt know what they were talking about i need the most imformative answer i can possible get this is probably one of the most important things to me i know most people would just view it as a piece of paper but growing up i was the fatherless girl and an outcast growing up in a small town some of you may think im just being a stupid little girl and it probably seems even more so since i havent used one bit of puncuation in this paragraph but its eleven at night and im exhausted i probably wont remember this site so please email me with any information at lhayes238@yahoo.com or doug_butabi_238@yahoo.com or post here and ill try to find this site again. i really appreciate any information given i want my step father to walk me down the isle and be able to say this is my father not my step father and i come from an old posh english family so its hard for me to say that so please please please help me here as soon as you posssibly can. thank you so so much for any info, i have to go now because im falling asleep at the computer thanks again bye bye
