Thank you so much for the replies to my post. I feel so much better now. I am getting very excited, but also trying to be a little reserved, just in case things are not what I hope they will be.

Yup, that's what most of us are here for - to offer support. Most of us have been through a lot in our searches and reunions. And we really want to help.
I am so excited for you. I was thinking back to my own reunion 3 years ago and wishing I could do it all over again! The excitement, emotion, and then the joy. It is only natural to be nervous and even think "worst case" scenario. But your bson sought you out and that is half the battle. It seems he must really want this reunion. I know you said that your life is settled. Please be prepared for the much talked about "roller coaster" ride for a while. Emotions crop up. Feelings need to be dealt with and a son needs to be assimilated into your family life too. There is much work to be done but it is so worth it. I wish you much happiness in your new journey.
