I had older parents that i never thought anything of. They told my sister and I that they enjoyed life first before having kids did all they wanted to first instead of waiting till we were older. In regards to hugs and being told I love you, well that just wasnt done in my house, doesnt mean that they didnt love us as they did with all their hearts but just werent the type to show emotions like that. Whenever I would question something was always told a story, in many ways it makes you feel that that part of your life was a total lie to you but it also made me a stronger person in how i am today. In regards to telling someone that I love them, my kids hear that everyday as does my husband. People dont realize how you really need to hear those words.
