I always knew

My family never kept it a secret that I was adopted, along with my twin sister. We were taken away from our abusive birth parents when we were babies and lived in foster homes until we were adopted at the age of 2. We were born on a USAF hospital in Cheyanne, WY on 11/18/1967. We have found out that our names were Jeanette or Janette Sue Armstrong and Joyce Ann Armstrong. And that our father's name was Terry Armstrong. You would think that I could obtain some information regarding our birth since he was in the military? But anyhow, Our adoptive parents were ok. My Adad was awsome...he passed away 14 years ago already...and i miss him soooo much. My amom is still living but, she has "her" kids to care about and love. I think she loves us, but in a different way than she loves her biological kids. When we were little I remember her saying that if we werent good they would bring us back to the adoption agency....talk about insecurity! I have sooo many mixed feelings about my parents (All of them)! The only thing I want to know is who my bparents are and what kind of life they live now.
confused,
Lisa

I always knew

Hello, Like you Ive always known I was adopted ,but I wondered what my life would have been like. Well I found out and I have to be honest I m very glad I was adopted.I probably would have been in a bad way. My biological father treated his daughters real bad when I was there in his home and itwas a very sad situation. I hope if you do find you b-family that you wont be disappointed. sometimes its good to know because there is closure afterwards but you also found out where you will be the happiest.
God Bless you and Good luck!!!
Stephanie.
