we're home
As promised, I'm posting a picture of our little girl Katy!
We had a very short trip--arrived last Wednesday 2/26 night at 11:00 pm and left on Friday 2/28 8:00 am. We stayed at the Westin--it was absolutely beautiful!! Our embassy visit went very smoothly--we didn't even have to wait in line--our attorney arranges for a woman Miriam to drive back and forth and facilitate that process! The only "interesting" thing was the teacher's strike that threatened to curtail flying in and out as they blocked the airport. When we arrived everyone had to be whisked away by bus to the Marriott for pickup there! Anyway, we couldn't be happier--although very busy! If anyone is interested we used Across the World Adoptions--they were wonderful!!

Suzy she is such a doll! She has a great head of hair - I love her earring. Congratulations.
Did you do any sight seeing or did you stay close to the hotel. We are hoping to stay at the Westin when we go down this summer. Any tips on where to eat, etc??

Oh, she's gorgeous. And all that hair! She looks nurtured and trusting and healthy. Congratulations on her homecoming! We stayed at the Westin in Nov when we visited our Mia. As the mother of three kids (6,4,3) already (Mia is 1 and not yet home from Guatemala), I loved the restaurant at the Westin. The food was fabulous. That lunchtime seafood buffet. Ooh. I felt spoiled!
Anyway, enjoy these precious early days. Best from, Jen G
