Hi all. I wanted to introduce my family to the board. We are Leslie, Ray and Austin Goode. (Austin is eight). We are in the final stages before we send our dossier to Guatemala. I think I have two more forms to type, get notarized, certified, etc. We are adopting a four year old girl from Guatemala.

I'm excited about this board. We originally were adopting from Kazakhstan, but lost the "referral" (long story). We feel blessed, though, to have found our daughter in Central America.

I'd love to know how long the process seems to be taking. I was told that we don't need the DNA test since she has already gone through abandonment. Sounds logical. I was hoping maybe that would help cut down the "wait".

Okay...I'm ready to read posts now!
