PRAYER Thread for those in-process
POST HERE if you're still in-process. Post whatever information you're comfortable with - such as your name and your waiting childs name. I promise to pray daily, every day in November, for each family.
Many of us hop on this forum often and can stop a moment to re-read this thread, then pray for Favor, Miracles, Blessings, Patients, Understanding, Wisdom, Care, Safety, and Peace to be given to you. You are not forgotten. If anyone has words of encouragement to pass along, please post it. Daphne

I just wanted to say.. I am so sorry to those of you still in-process. It's cruel and unfair what you & your children are going through.
 May you bring all of your children home quickly..

Nov 22 (Thanksgiving) - Dossier received in Guatemala! Dec 27 - Jan 1, 2008 3rd visit Dec 28- In PGN Jan 3, 2008 - Submitted to US Embassy for PA ... waiting... Feb 12- Reg CNA Feb 29 - PGN wants special needs awareness letter March 26 - I-72 From USE June 9 - 17 - 4th visit July 26 - Complications...appeals made to original COA judge... Oct 21 - Perdida de patria y potestad needed... will likely take a year! Nov 27 - Dec 1 - 5th visit (Thanksgiving) April 3, 2009 - PRE-APPROVAL! July 16 - 21 6th visit Oct - Need report from MP, still being reviewed in PGN

Family Court Jan 17 '08 ( gotcha day #3, we are fostering since '05) Filed for PA Dec 18 '07 Received PA Feb 18 '08 PGN Feb 29 '08: Kicked out 4/8 Back in PGN 6/4 kicked out 7/22 back in 7/30 OUT! 8/20  embassy 1/12/09  DOB Feb 24 '04accepted referral March '04 while on visit trip w/ DS #1 ( same agency, we were Naive  )Started fostering Jan '05 Aug '05 found out DS #2 adoption was never started. Lawyer promised to reform, got through family court, birth mom disappeared and more lies... Lawyer fired and new one hired. Abandonment granted Jan 30 '08.  Received abandonment decree March 18 '08 Praise the Lord!Oct '09 Adoption approved by family court!   DOB Jan 2 '06 in our arms Jan 3 '06Adoption complete April '07

Not in PGN yet  2/29/08: Hearing....OH WAIT, NO...the Judge didn't have time to read the materials. We need to reschedule! 4/21/2008: 100 days waiting to get INTO PGN  5/16/08: New Hearing Date 5/16/08: Judge wants another DNA test and the results need to come from Spain. Timeframe: 5 months 9/12/08: DNA test scheduled 9/12/08: BMI 2/25/09: Final Court Hearing - Judge says we can continue! 3/20/09: Decree is in hand! Goodbye Judge!!! Hello PGN! 3/30/09: After 407 days of waiting...we've been submitted to PGN!!! 4/15/09: PGN Kickout - 5 Previos!!!!!!!!! 5/15/09: PGN Resubmit 7/7/09: PGN Kickout - 2 Previos!! 8/26/09: PGN Resubmit Waiting to exit PGN.

Mommy to C&C  Still praying...for 1 more 10/17/07-Found you 10/22-It's official 11/12-rec COA 12/21-entire dossier rec'd by atty 12/22-subm for PA 1/23/08-agency says case in "grave jeopardy" 2/12-rec PA 2/15-FLOP-WHY 8/6-begged agency for atty to establish case w/CNA 8/13-agency says 'not likely' b/c we didn't VISIT ...new atty=new hope 10/13-new atty talks to CNA->We qualify for regularization 10/21-Confirmed COA from agency is not a COA. Never even filed 11/5-prior atty wants to "check" on us.Tells new atty he was never pd by agency! Agrees to give our file IF we release him of all liab  1/6/09-rec the real COA! Petition to be filed with CNA tomorrow! 2/10-'old' atty won't release our file...w/out PAYING a fee! So much for release of liability  2/16-Agree to pay file ransom 4/29-File FINALLY given to new atty 5/19-CNA officially approves us to begin adoption; accepts dossier NOW MORE HOOPS
