I am LIVID!
So, there are so very few of us still in process and not very many post on this board but since the Guatadopt forum was hacked, I can't post there.
I AM LIVID!!!! We are a GRANDFATHERED case and are still waiting to bring our daughter home. It's been over 2 years and we can't get out of PGN. The newest requirement of going through the Minors section of PGN is the black hole. I even met with the head of the Minors PGN unit and she told me that we'd be out of her area 2 weeks ago. I know that it is silly of me to believe anything they say at this point. I was just told that not only do they need a report from the MP, they also need a report from "el departamento de sicologia, y de trabajo social de la PGN, y el departmento de Gestion Penal." These are IN ADDITION TO all the reports, files, DNA's, investigations, and other nonsense that have been done. What does it take to bring a child home? Honestly, what more are they going to add???? They don't read it anyway.

Feb 12- Reg CNA Feb 29 - PGN wants special needs awareness letter March 26 - I-72 From USE June 9 - 17 - 4th visit July 26 - Complications...appeals made to original COA judge... Oct 21 - Perdida de patria y potestad needed... will likely take a year! Nov 27 - Dec 1 - 5th visit (Thanksgiving) April 3, 2009 - PRE-APPROVAL! July 16 - 21 6th visit Oct - Need report from MP, still being reviewed in PGN

It is hard to imagine what you are going through. Today is my daughter's 1st Gotcha day and I thought 15 mos was a long time. I see how lucky I was. Saying an extra prayer for you all tonight. What a nightmare!
