Thoughts on pending cases and future
Hi All,
Everyday I wonder how many cases are still pending and when will we see them completed??? Hasn't this gone on long enough already? Does anyone know what the current estimate is for "grandfather" cases? What can we do (if anything as it seems out of the US control) to get a fire lit where it needs to be lit?
Also, any thoughts on the future of Guat adoptions? I've heard many rumors including a response from CNA directly that they are re-opening in the near future but have not decided on what countries would be allowed. I was on the CNA website the other day and they are promoting domestic adoption and letting birth mothers know they have an option by contacting CNA -at least its a step in the right direction. I guess I'm just frustrated that this has been dragging on so long for those families in process and the fact that so many children need basic things to survive but are denied the option of forever families. So I will continue to pray for all the families and the future of the Guat kids (birth mom's too).
