N-600 questions?

Okay so now I am finally working on the certificate of citizenship for my son who is now three. Gosh I hate all of this paperwork. UGHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

Have any of you done this lately? It looks like with the form I will need to send

1. His original birth certificate from Guatemala with translation

2. Birth Certificate from Missouri

3. Proof of residence or physical presence

4. Full final readoption decree including name change

Help am I missing anything??

Beth

Here is the list:

Passport size photos - Child
Birth Certificate – Child (Guatemalan BC)
Marriage Certificate -Parents (if applic)
Divorce decree –Parents (if applic)
Proof of US citizenship - Parents (state BC for each parent or COC if parent was born abroad)
Proof of Legal custody - Child (Protocolo)
Permanent Resident Card (Green card) - Child
Proof of required US residence - Parents
Final adoption decree - Child w/Parents (readoption paperwork)
Evidence of legal name change - Child (& Parent if applicable)

Also anything in spanish, must have the english translation copy included, like the Protocolo, etc.

If you have not filed the G884 and they still have the Immigration packet, some of this would be in there, but personally I think it makes more sense to just include everything regardless.

Hope that helps!
